Easy Knit Beanie Pattern
measurements:
finished beanie height measures approximately 10”
finished beanie circumference measures approximately 21"
what you will need:
Color A – 1 skein I Love This Yarn in Orange Neon (approximately 85 yds) or another #4 medium Aran weight yarn.
US 9/5.5 mm circular knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge. To save time make sure to check gauge: GAUGE: 15x22 rows in stockinette = approximately 4”x4”
Color B - 1 skein I Love This Yarn in Mango (approximately 70 yds) or another #4 medium Aran weight yarn.

Color C - 1 skein I Love This Yarn in Light Peach (approximately 35 yds) or another #4 medium Aran weight yarn.

For this beanie pattern you will be working in a continuous round. Use stitch marker to keep place.
abbreviations:
CO – cast on
K - knit
K2TOG – knit 2 together
REP – Repeat
ST/STS – stitch/stitches
special stitches:
K2TOG (knit two together) – insert needle through two stitches instead of one (see left photo below) and knit as you normally would. This will decrease your stitch count by one. (see right photo below)
Easy Knit Beanie Pattern
pattern:
Beginning your double brim
With Color A CO 70.
Join to knit in the round being careful not to twist your work.
Place stitch marker before first ST to keep place.
Rounds 1 – 29 (or until your beanie measures approximately 6”): K around.
Round 30: Form double brim by folding beanie in half and knitting one stitch from the CO edge together with one working stitch.
Change to Color B.
Rounds 31-56 (or until your Color B section measures approximately 5”): K around.
Change to Color C.
Rounds 57-66 (or until your Color C section measures approximately 2”): K around.
Round 67: K2, K2TOG, *K3, K2TOG; REP from * till last ST; K last ST. (56 STS)
Round 68: K1, K2TOG, *K2, K2TOG; REP from * till last ST; K last ST. (42 STS)
Round 69: K2TOG around. (21 STS)
Do not bind off. Leaving an approximately 12” yarn tail, cut yarn but leave STS on needles.
finishing:
With 12” yarn tail and tapestry needle, string through all 21 loops on needles. Remove needles. Pull yarn tightly together to form circle at the top of your beanie. Be careful not to tear yarn. Weave in ends. Congrats on your new beanie!
